How does the Center for Computer Forensics protect my data? Print

The Center for Computer Forensics is very conscious of our responsibility to protect our client's electronically store evidence (data).  We have many safe guards in place:

  1. The Center for Computer Forensics stores all original electronically stored evidence (client data) in a fireproof media safe unless it is in the limited access lab for processing.
  2. The Center for Computer Forensics limits access to our labs to forensic examiners only.  The Center for Computer Forensics even cleans the lab themselves.
  3. The Center for Computer Forensics stores the bit-steam images and electronically stored evidence (client data) being processed on a secure Novell file server with 16 terabytes of storage.  Client data is stored by an assigned case number and never co-mingled with other clients data.   The Novell server is NOT on the Internet except for update purposes.
  4. The Center for Computer Forensics physical building alarmed and is located in a office park with 24 hour security guard patrolling.
  5. The Center for Computer Forensics will only communicate with clients that are known to us.  Therefore, even if an associate of our client was to call, we would not give any information about the client or case to anyone not authorized to receive the data.
  6. The Center for Computer Forensics often sits in a middle chair, both as part of a mutual agreement or court order and strictly adheres to the parameters set forth in our statement of work.
