Ives R. Potrafka, CFCE / EnCE - Senior Examiner
Mr. Potrafka joined the Center for Computer Forensics in January, 2004. Prior to joining CCF, Mr. Potrafka served four years as a Special Agent / Computer Forensic Examiner and Internet Investigator in the Michigan Attorney General’s Office, High Tech Crime Unit.
Prior to the Michigan Attorney General’s Office Mr. Potrafka served as a local and county law enforcement office for approximately 24 years. Prior to his retirement from the Genesee County, Michigan Sheriff’s Department, Mr. Potrafka was in charge of the Computer Crime Unit. Mr. Potrafka has extensive courtroom experience and has testified as an expert.
Mr. Potrafka holds numerous certifications and has extensive training in the field of computer forensics. Mr. Potrafka recently earned his Associate’s Degree in occupational studies with a focus on computer related topics. Mr. Potrafka also has extensive background in Internet services, having been Chairman of the Genesee FreeNet (a non-profit ISP), and as a current owner of a web hosting service.

Edwin L.Moore Jr., CFCE - Forensic Examiner
Mr. Moore joined the Center for Computer Forensics as a Consulting Examiner in October, 2005. Mr. Moore became a full time examiner in February, 2006.
Prior to joining the Center for Computer Forensics, Mr. Moore served his community for over 31 years as a law enforcement officer for the Livingston County, Michigan , Sheriff’s Department. Mr. Moore served in many rolls of increasing responsibility including 26 years as a Detective. As a Detective, Mr. Moore’s assignments included the General Detective Bureau, Fraud Investigator, Homicide Investigator, Arson / Fire Investigator, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and retired as the head of the Computer Crime Unit. Mr. Moore has extensive court room experience and has testified as an expert.

Nancy A. Forster, EnCE - Forensic Examiner
Ms. Forster joined the Data Recovery Group (an associated company) in 1999 as a data recovery technician. Since 2000, Ms. Forster has received extensive training in forensic tools and has completed forensic examinations for both criminal and civil cases.
Ms. Forster has testified in depositions and in both state and federal court.

Norman L. Gibson - Forensic Examiner
Mr. Gibson Joined the Center for Computer Forensics as a Forensic Examiner in November, 2006. Prior to joining the Center for Computer Forensics, Mr. Gibson served his community as a law enforcement officer with the Wayne County, Michigan, Sheriff’s Department. Mr. Gibson served as a Deputy in the Corrections Department and as an Investigator.
As an Investigator for seven years, Mr. Gibson’s assignments focused on computer crime. His assignments included forensic analysis of seized computers as well as Internet-based investigations involving fraud, theft and child exploitation. Mr. Gibson has extensive training in the field of computer forensics and has extensive court room experience.
Mr. Gibson has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice (1996) from Western Michigan University.
